GLEON Special Session
In addition to the GLEON 5 meeting, GLEON organized a special session on The Use of High Frequency Data from Sensor Networks in Limnology, which ran on Monday 13 August from 1100 to 1740 and on Tuesday 14 August from 1030 to 1510.

GLEON Student Association
There was a meeting of the graduate students (PDF) and researchers who have graduate students interested in GLEON. That meeting took place Tuesday 14 August, 1715 to 1830 in the Congress Center, room 518C. Additional activities for students were posted on the SIL web site. Informal Get-together
There was also an informal get together of individuals interested in GLEON or interested in following up on ideas from the week on Thursday 16 August from 1730 to 1900. :)
