There will be a workshop on Monday morning on "Cool things you are doing with GLEON data" at Campus Roslagen.
There will also be an informal workshop on Monday 29 September in the afternoon at the Lake Erken field station in oriented toward students. (Free afternoon for non-students.)
The travel days for students and workshop participants will be Sunday 28 September (and possibly Saturday 27 September) and Thursday 2 October. The travel days for others will be Monday 29 September and Thursday 2 October.

Lodging in Stockholm

Youth hostels - For budget travellers there are quite a few youth hostels (not only bunk beds, most also have rooms close to hotel standard)

Interesting alternatives include the tallship "Af Chapman" and the old prison "Longholmen"

The Nordic Light Hotel Stockholm - interesting and centrally located designer Hotel (quite new) with high to mdoerate prices (see http://www.nordiclighthotel.se/sv/)

Travel Information

Bus Schedule between Arlanda International Airport and Norrtalje(PDF)
Note: The bus fare is 30 SEK one way (two coupons). You cannot pay with Euros and tickets are not available on the bus.Purchase tickets at Pressbyrn in the airport in the arrival hall of terminal 5, Sky City/Arlanda. Exit the airport and look for bus # 806.

To get to Campus Roslagen: Walk 800-900 meters from the Norrtalje bus station to reach Campus Roslagen.*

To get to Erken Laboratory: Take bus 637 or 641 from the Norrtalje bus station and tell the bus driver to let you off at the Norr Malma bus stop. Walk 1000 meters to reach Erken Laboratory. * You may also take a taxi but it is more expensive.

To get to Pension Granparken: taxi or 20-minute walk* (taxi station is beside the Norrtalje bus station)

To get to Svanberga (Monday dinner): Take bus 637 or 641 from the Norrtalje bus station and exit at bus stop Svanberga
