GLEON Technology Email Lists

GLEON is working to build specialized communities within the network. Towards that goal, there are topic specific email lists to improve collaboration via the sharing of expertise and ideas. The lists are open to all interested in the respective list topics.

Gleon-tech discusses the hardware and sensing technology used by members of GLEON. This includes sensors, dataloggers, wireless networks, and instrumented platforms.

Gleon-software, focuses on data management software, including that being developed for GLEON. All aspects are discussed including but not limited to data assimilation, storage, distribution, and retrieval technologies and software.

Gleon-data-integration, works on a specific project aiming to integrate and share data between all sites within GLEON, even those with custom data management systems. This is a specific project working to overcome the heterogeneity of data sources and management technologies in the network.
